If you’ve been surfing around the internet lately and you’ve been looking to make money online, you might have come across the giant online marketplace called Clickbank.
Clickbank is by far one of the biggest online market places around, for digital information products. You can either join Clickbank as a digital creator or as an affiliate marketer.
Either way, you can make money through it. You can even sign up to be both, a creator and an affiliate marketer.
CBU (Clickbank University) has been created by the owners (Adam and Justin) in the year 2014 and it has been quite successful ever since.
In this clickbank university review I want to reveal the reason for its success as well as discuss the benefits and negatives of the course.
Although I don’t see this product to be entirely terrible or amazing, I just wanted to point out, if you are interested in making money online and learning how to generate passive income legitimately, I would like to direct you to my preferred online course here.
You don’t have to create any products within that course unlike with CBU.
Who Is Clickbank University For?
CBU, as mentioned above, has been around since the early 2014.
The platform or course is meant to teach people how to make money online through creating their own products and selling them via the internet.
It is mainly focused on people who want to create and produce a product, which they can then sell online.
So if you are an expert or really passionate about something this might be for you.
As you learn how to sell your products, you are being taught some lessons, to becoming a successful affiliate marketer.
Although all their methods and teachings are based around Clickbank as a marketplace itself, you can easily apply the same techniques for any other market.
In terms of costs, you can use the $1 trial period, which in my opinion is fairly useless, as you only get to see introduction videos which you can easily find on YouTube as well.
It lasts for 7 days and to be fair it’s just $1, so if you really want to go through this course you might want to give it a peak.
The $47/ month membership is probably the wisest choice, if you want to get a proper feel for the entire course and see how everything is presented and taught.
The yearly membership of $297 plus upsell of $97 should only be purchased, if 1) you are convinced and enjoy the course and 2) want to save money. Oh and of course if you have a big wallet and are committed to succeed.
I personally believe that there are far, far better courses out there with better value for their money. But again this is just me and CBU might really attract your needs.
Trainings And Tools:
Although this course is primarily aimed for beginners, I do know that a lot of very successful affiliate marketers, joined this course to try it out and see what it has to offer.
To their surprise, they all learned a thing or two they didn’t know about and to this day are convinced that it is a very neat course, for all levels.
To be honest, anything related to the internet and making money, should always be a constant education.
You cannot sit back at one point and expect your business to run the same way it did 5 years ago.
That is why CBU is one of the courses that has a great upkeep of all the new updates the internet and its search engines constantly come up with.
Within your CBU account you will have certain tools such as:
- Website builder
- Beginners Tab (intro to creating your product which covers everything from finding your niche, to creating and marketing, as well as selling it)
- Advanced training
- Affiliate training
- PPC usage
- E-mail listing training
- SEO training
- Social media usage
- Live Seminars
So as you see, the course really covers everything from A-Z, but there are certain limits. For instance, you are forced to do the beginners course in weekly sets.
In total it will take you 8 weeks. Of course you may go back and redo certain lessons, but it can be annoying if you want to move forward faster and you are limited to a time restriction.
There is also a “Done for you” section, which basically is a feature, that allows you to build a website for you and your desires.
The only catch to it is, that the more you spend, the nicer your site will be. This doesn’t seem to be a very cheap feature in my opinion.
For instance, I wrote a whole post on how to create a website in 30 seconds for free, additionally you will have the entire control of your website, unlike the above mentioned CBU function.
The community feature is quite good. I generally think that communities are a good feature for any course/ university.
You can engage and learn from others and ask questions when stuck. I really liked that they incorporated this. It also adds to the university feeling!
Pros vs. Cons:
- Huge library of Video Training
- Creators and owners use the same methods and are active within their community
- Good for beginners
- 60 days money back guarantee (as most clickbank products)
- Live seminars (weekly)
- Website creation to your desires (for a fee)
- Customer Support very responsive
- Lesson Limitation per week
- Weak communication between the community
- Extra fees, as mentioned above, for website hosting and creation
- Lack of thorough training for SEO, keyword search and others
- Really Expensive!
Overall I think the entire course has a great value to it and you can actually genuinely make money, if not a full time living off it.
I almost joined the course before I fell onto my preferred “university” which I joined for free!
I have negative feelings towards paying for a website creation as well as the not in debt teachings in terms of SEO.
There have been certain complaints that there are a few things left out. For those of you who aren’t too familiar with SEO, this is quite vital to master, if you want to sell products online.
Adam and Justin, both seem to be quite genuine guys and they created an amazing product, so you can be reassured that this is definitely not a scam.
If you have gone through several Clickbank university reviews, students as well as experienced affiliates, will vouch and say that this is a great course.
I think it is better for people with experience though because there are some lessons which expect you to know things to a certain degree, which therefore skip through parts that beginners will find difficult to complete.
My final complaint about the course is the price options. Of course, to some people, $97 doesn’t seem like a lot. But for a lot of us this is a bit expensive.
As I mentioned previously, there are so many cheaper courses around for the same value if not better.
So if you asked yourself, what if Clickbank university, you now have a pretty good idea I hope. If however you want to learn to make money at a far cheaper price and a much better organized manner, please allow me to read my review of my preferred community here!
One last word! I also didn’t entirely love the course, because it is mainly focused on product creation.
I wasn’t so much interested in that and more interested in affiliate marketing. I just thought I’d let you know in case this changes a few thoughts.
Feel free to share your thoughts on this course. Have you joined it or thought of joining it? Do you have questions about it?
Have you made money through it? I would love to hear what you have to say, so leave a comment behind and I will answer you!
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it,
