About Me

Hi there,

My name is Esteban and I have made my first step into the affiliate marketing world around the beginning of June 2015.

So Let Me Introduce Myself:

I have always wanted to be able to do and buy whatever I want (most of us do I suppose) and ever since I can think back, this has been my dream.

I had a pretty average life so far in terms of my career, meaning I went to school, graduated, went to university, graduated and jumped into a typical 9-5 desk job (only that I usually worked until 7pm on a daily basis).

Now personally I was going slightly insane with this approach and I didn’t see myself rotting away behind a desk for the next 40 years until I hit retirement and can’t do anything anymore.

I have my energy now and the world needs to be explored from all angles whilst I’m still young.

What Changed?

Recently I stumbled across the term “affiliate marketing” and I finally found something I know I will:

  1. Enjoy doing
  2. Be able to make money from
  3. Do it from any place in the world (given I am connected to the internet)
  4. Live a happy life by doing this successfully

What Approaches Have I Tried?

I have tried several approaches to make money before and believe me I do not give up fast or easily. I studied a course, whilst working, to learn how to trade.

But it turns out that I felt like trading has too much stress and risk involved and it needed my entire time for several months, before I would be mastering a steady stable income (which again you never truly have in the world of trading).

Additionally I tried to set up and run a unique business back in 2013, which didn’t exist yet from where I’m from (Luxembourg).

I was going to be the first burger van in my country but several factors prohibited me from doing so. After months of fighting I managed to be the first coffee van instead!

My friend and I tried everything to make it work and after tons of different locations and painful weeks. We decided to give it a break and reconsider our steps.

So all in all I was working 1 job during the day, studying a course and trying to put theory into practical use and work a second job in between.

This went on for a good year and a half, if not longer.

What Now?

So after a lot of pain and a lot of new gray hairs (I am only 26 as I’m writing this), I will now go through with a new approach.

I will report every single part of my journey here, so you can follow and copy me.

This way you won’t have to suffer a dull boring life anymore either, because if I succeed you can too by simply repeating my steps, which are all documented on my site ;).

If you want my direct personal help, I invite you to make a change in your life and join me here.

I promise you that you will learn everything you need to know to create a successful online business and that you can quit your job if you put enough work to it.

I’m pretty sure if you are on this site and you are in the same boat as me, you will enjoy succeeding as much as I do!

  1. Hi Esteban,

I really liked your opening intro saying: “I have my energy now and the world needs to be explored from all angles.”
And, I believe you when you say that you wanted to make a change in your life for the greater good of securing your future. Doing something you love and have a passion for leads to greater success in life versus that of a job which is not fulfilling you and giving you the edge to be more motivated to keep pushing you forward. I went through a cycle of interests of careers I wanted to pursue and still live up to something my parents could be proud of. At first, I wanted to be a medical doctor, but seeing as how I couldn’t overcome not achieving great scores in terms of math/science for the MCAT, I gave up that. I then wanted to be a counselor, but being pushed to do many hours of internship experience while juggling education and work seemed too stressful. Then, as my last resort I looked at internet marketing and found it to my liking since I have a great passion for anything technology-related. I went through with that, and hope in time I can become someone my parents can be really pleased with having in their family. 🙂 Often times I think I fall short of their expectations and believe I wasn’t good enough. 🙁

    • Hi Angel,

Firstly I’d like to say thanks for your comment. I truly appreciate it.

I agree that we probably all want to make our parents proud, but I’m sure they will be more proud if you are happy and I think you will be once you create a source of passive income. It seems like you would like to help people and so do I. I will be very glad to give back to more unfortunate people once I have time and money to do so. Therefore I hope my path to passive income will eventually generate enough to do these things 🙂

I also have a passion for technology related things so I’m happy we both stumbled across affiliate marketing. Don’t be too harsh on yourself. I’m sure your parents are prouder than you think. Keep up the good work and don’t give up. That might be the most important key to success 🙂

  2. Making money with your passion means that you actually like what you are doing. Much better than working only to get income without passion for what you are doing.

    • Completely agree Marcel.

When I was working in an office I felt like my life was getting drained and I was miserable at the end of the day!
I don’t see how people can live like this forever. The only escape they have is the occasional holiday and weekends. Weekends tend to turn into the only free days to do things so they are pretty much wasted on running around doing errands.

      Thanks for the comment

your page is perfectly done, im still new in wealth affiliates but i can surely say that there is much to be learn’t from your work including this page.

how do i put the links below my pages (facebook, twitter,…)?

i have bookmarked this site for further reference, your work is commendable…

    • Hi Ongi,

I’m very happy you enjoy my page so much. It makes me feel very confident and shows I’m heading in the right direction. If you want the little icons that lets people share your posts instantly on Facebook, Twitter and others, simply go on your dashboard on your website, go to plugins and search and install the plugin called Sociable. That’s the one I’m using. I must admit I’m still trying it out and I might change it but for now it does the job.
If you need any other help don’t hesitate to ask me I’m happy to help 🙂

Good luck with your affiliate work!

  4. Hi Essi, You really are a go getter. You have tried so many different niches in search of finding your passion and independence. if something doesn’t work out you pick yourself up and brush yourself of…. you know what I mean. The point being You have found a Great and Safe place to build Your own Online Business. Yes! I’m on the site and working very hard to make this happen, I’m not afraid of competition as I feel there is a lot to go around with 86% if the 7 billion people using the World Wide Wed everyday!. We are all unique in what we chose as a Niche, but I like you, believe we get back what we put into our site. Most importantly is to focus on being different, but make sure your Content is both interesting and engaging if you want people to come back. From what I read here, I know you’re not a quitter and you will always strive to maintain a lifestyle you want to become accustomed to! You will succeed, because that’s the kind of person you are!! Watch those gray hairs though, they sneak up on you:) Sharon

    • Hey Sharon,

Such kind words put great comfort in my mind 🙂
It’s true that I have been trying hard for the past few years and the harder I fail the harder I get back to work and try to make things the way I want them to be! Building this website has given me great confidence and a whole new gameplan to succeed again. I hope my articles are engaging and interesting enough for people to return.
Those gray hairs won’t continue growing, now that I’ve quit my stressful job! Believe me 😉
Thanks again Sharon. Great to hear these words!

  5. Hi Esteban:

I could not agree more with what Sharon said. You are a Go Getter and I can see you do not give up easily on anything and you are not afraid of hard work.

I admire how you have explored many different venues for creating a business and earning money. I liked how you and your friend attempted a food truck for a while and you looked into other ways of sustaining yourself.

I am so glad you have found Wealthy Affiliate. I joined almost three months ago and am really enjoying it. It does require much hard work in the beginning, but it will pay off.

Good luck and keep in touch!

    • Hey Steph,
Thanks for these kind words! I think there’s no other way but to be a go getter, if you want to change the way your life is going.
I did try a couple of things but I realized all of them need far more effort than affiliate marketing!

  9. Hi Esteban, Been following you for a while and I really enjoy your articles. I’m also a member of WA. Love it. Do they teach you how to set up an op-tin page and email system. I did one on my own a while ago. But cancelled a-weber because of the cost and nothing coming in. Keep up the good work and much success. Deanna

    • Hey Deanna,
Thanks for following and writing me 🙂 Always happy to see a fellow WA member on my blog.
There are some trainings within the community. I think you have to snoop around a bit before you find what you’re looking for exactly. I found one training (can’t remember by whom) which taught me how to do it with madmimi. I created my own tutorial here though if you’d like to have a look. Unlike aweber the tool is free until you hit 100 or 1000 subscribers. Don’t remember the exact amount.
Having said that it’s not as amazing as aweber, which is why I made the switch.
Feel free to drop me a message in WA so that I can pass you the training in case I find it again.
      Kind regards,

  10. Well I’ve joined WA and keep walking off from it to try other stuff. But to be honest I hear really great stuff all over the internet about it. I just need to commit. Good luck!! Esteban I found you through Elanas blog. I signed up for your email list.

    • Hey Tonya,
I hope you don’t make the same mistake I made when I joined! I constantly lost track and looked for faster options. Every time I did, I either lost a lot of money or time (in most cases both).
I honestly honestly promise you that if you stick to the course you will succeed! I’ve done too many experiments and Google will punish fluffy websites sooner or later. The only website that hasn’t been affected is this blog because I went and did the WA way with it. But still instead of continuing the course I blog mostly about other experiments I’m currently undergoing 😉
Anyway good luck and always know I’m happy to help, so just shout out in the WA community or write me privately.
